?Danish Immigration Service appointment FAQ

How do I book an appointment with the Danish Immigration Service's Citizen Service?

You book online on the Danish Immigration Service's booking page. Choose what you need (for example biometrics), the office and the number of persons, then pick a free time. You cannot visit Citizen Service without an appointment, and you cannot book by phone.

How soon must I have my biometrics recorded?

Because of a busy period, the Danish Immigration Service has extended the deadline for biometrics to 6 weeks. For people displaced from Ukraine it is 4 weeks. Times can be booked up to 4 weeks ahead, so check often.

What is the difference between the Danish Immigration Service and SIRI?

They are two different authorities with separate offices and booking systems. The Danish Immigration Service (Udlændingestyrelsen) handles, among others, family reunification and asylum cases. SIRI handles, among others, work and study permits. Your letter or application receipt tells you which one to book with. Looking for SIRI? See SIRI appointment availability.

Is Immigration Slots an official service?

No. Immigration Slots is an independent, free tool. It only reads available days and never books, holds or sells appointments. You always book on the Danish Immigration Service's official booking page.

How often is the availability updated?

Every 20 minutes. The page updates itself, so you do not need to reload it.

Not an official service of the Danish Immigration Service. We only show free days. For questions about your case, see the official Citizen Service page.
